Tasha Cook

Tash's passion for travel started at a young age, with her parents owning a travel agency in Salamander Bay. Growing up, she travelled extensively and began working full-time in the travel industry after high school in 2013. Over the years, Tash has been on numerous adventures, including trips to Europe, Asia, South America, and the Pacific.

In 2012, I embarked on a two-month European adventure with Contiki, visiting Italy, France, Monaco, and Spain, followed by a two-week winter trip to Sweden. I then went to the UK and visited London, Bath, Liverpool, and Cardiff.

In 2013, I was able to experience a European River Cruise from Amsterdam to Basel aboard the Amadaus Princess and a short cruise on the Pacific Jewel through work. I also spent a few days in Dubai on my way to Europe, where I joined a Greek Island Tour with Contiki and explored the beautiful islands of Ios, Mykonos, and Santorini.

In 2014, I went to Chile, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, and Peru with Scenic Tours, which was one of my favourite trips. I also spent some time in Sweden celebrating Swedish Midsommer and travelling through Northern & Central Vietnam with Wide Eyed Tours.

In 2015, I travelled to India with my mum for the Holi Color Festival and explored Delhi, Agra, and the Taj Mahal, among other places. I also went on a 5-month adventure that included a Trafalgar Tour through Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, a Croatia sailing holiday with Contiki, and a Contiki tour through London, Paris, Lucerne, Venice, Innsbruck, Munich, and Amsterdam.

In 2016, I went to Palm Springs and Huntington Beach in California and drove from Auckland to Wellington in the North Island of New Zealand.

In 2017, I escorted a group of 17 clients from Port Stephens to the Canada Rockies and Alaska through Evergreen Tours. I also had a personal trip planned through Budapest, Prague, Vienna, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, and Iceland.

In 2018, I escorted a group to Vietnam and Cambodia on a Mekong River Cruise and took a quick trip to Hong Kong.

In 2019, was a quick trip Las Vegas and and a Caribbean cruise with Mum onboard Viking. The following year, due to the pandemic, my planned Japan group trip was cancelled. However, I was lucky enough to visit the Cook Islands before borders closed and had the most amazing experience albeit a little stress ensuring I was on that last plane out of paradise.

In 2022, once borders opened, I was straight be to Sweden, Spain, and the UK to visit family and friends.

In 2023, I’m heading to Taiwan to visit friends before cruising around Japan with my sister Hayley, onboard Oceania Cruises and who knows wha other wonderful destinations I will visit before the year is out.
